Scan directory

The first step usually is to create a new database. You can do it automatically using directory scanning. Just select a folder and default options will do.

Options description:

• Directory to scan: The root of the directory tree to be scanned for supported files
• Store lyrics: Select if you want to store lyrics in the database. Warning: it makes the database much bigger
• Add only new files: Adds only files not existing in the database. Useful for updating the database
• Store text notes: Select if you want to store text notes and comments in the database. It can makes the database bigger
• Detect moved files: Detects files moved to a different directory or renamed and updates only the path and name
